Not every pump can handle sulfuric acid at 90°C. Or keep running when the tank runs dry. Or stop a $50,000 chemical spill before it starts.
That’s the gap JIEKAI has filled since 2008.
We’re a chemical pump manufacturer based in Guangdong, China, and we don’t make food pumps. We don’t make oil pumps. We make pumps that move chemicals — acids, alkalis, solvents, plating solutions — without leaking, corroding, or failing when your production line depends on them.

What We Actually Build
Walk our factory floor and you’ll see six product families in active production. Each one solves a specific problem that generic industrial pumps can’t handle.
Vertical Chemical Pumps (JKD/MVP/MVF Series)
These sit inside the tank. Literally. The motor hangs above, the pump body drops into the chemical bath, and the impeller circulates plating solution without taking up floor space.
Key specs that matter:
- Immersion depth: 0.5m to 2.0m (customizable)
- Materials: FRPP for general acids, PVDF for hot concentrated chemicals
- Dry-run protection: The bearing assembly survives temporary liquid level drops
- Typical use: PCB chemical nickel lines, chrome plating tanks, anodizing baths
We’ve shipped over 4,000 vertical pumps to PCB factories across Southeast Asia. The feedback we hear most: “It just keeps running.”
Magnetic Drive Pumps (MG Series)
No mechanical seal. No shaft penetration. No leak path.
The magnetic drive pump uses a pair of rare-earth magnets — one on the motor shaft, one on the impeller — separated by a static isolation sleeve. The torque passes through the sleeve. The chemicals don’t.
Why this matters for your operation:
- Zero emissions: Meets EPA and EU environmental standards for volatile chemicals
- No seal replacement: Eliminates the #1 maintenance headache in chemical pumping
- Safe for operators: No drip trays, no secondary containment for pump seals
- Materials: PTFE/PFA lined for hydrofluoric acid, PVDF for chlorine-based chemicals
A semiconductor fab in Malaysia switched to our MG-5032 model in 2022. Their seal replacement costs dropped from $8,400/year to zero. The pump is still running.
Self-Priming Chemical Pumps (JKB/MGS Series)
Some installations can’t put the pump below the liquid level. The suction line runs uphill. The tank is on a mezzanine. The source is a drum, not a tank.
That’s where self-priming pumps earn their keep. The JKB series creates vacuum on startup, pulls liquid up the suction line, and maintains prime even with air bubbles in the flow.
- Suction lift: Up to 5 meters without foot valve
- solids handling: Open impeller passes small particles without jamming
- Applications: Wastewater sump pumping, chemical drum transfer, tanker unloading
Stainless Steel Centrifugal Pumps (JKA/JKV Series)
Not every chemical needs plastic. For neutral pH applications or mild acids, stainless steel 316L offers better pressure capability and longer mechanical seal life.
Our JKV vertical stainless pumps handle:
- Deionized water circulation in electronics cleanrooms
- Hot water transfer in surface treatment lines
- Mild alkaline cleaning solutions
Permanent Magnet Pumps (MGV Series)
Newer addition to the line. IE4 permanent magnet motors cut energy consumption by 15-25% compared to standard induction motors. The payback period is typically 14-18 months in continuous-duty applications.
We’re seeing strong uptake in Vietnam and India, where electricity costs are rising and factories face carbon reduction targets.
Chemical Filtration Systems (MK/JK Series)
A pump moves liquid. A filter cleans it. We do both.
The JK filter housings pair with our pumps in integrated skids:
- Bag filters: 1-800 micron, quick-change design, no tools needed
- Cartridge filters: Absolute rated for critical applications
- Activated carbon systems: For organic contaminant removal in plating baths
- Materials: PP for general chemicals, PVDF for hot acids, stainless steel for food/pharma
The most common configuration we sell: Vertical pump + bag filter on a shared baseplate, pre-piped and wired, ready to drop into a plating line.

Inside the Factory: How We Build Them
Our production facility covers 20,000 square meters in Dongguan, Guangdong — about 90 minutes north of Hong Kong by road. Here’s what that space contains:
CNC Machining Center
Twelve CNC lathes and machining centers handle impeller balancing, shaft finishing, and flange machining. Tolerances: ±0.02mm on bearing journals, ±0.05mm on impeller outer diameter. We keep these in-house because outsourcing adds 10 days and introduces quality variation we can’t control.
Injection Molding
FRPP and PVDF pump bodies, filter housings, and impellers come from our own molds. We run virgin resin, not regrind. The difference shows up 18 months later, when competitor pumps crack in hot chromic acid and ours don’t.
Assembly & Test
Every pump gets a hydrostatic test at 1.5x rated pressure for 30 minutes. Every magnetic drive pump gets a helium leak test. Every motor gets a no-load run-in before pairing with the pump.
We keep test records for 5 years. If a customer calls with a field issue in 2031, we’ll pull the test sheet from 2026 and know exactly what happened on the bench.
Quality Certifications
- ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management system
- CE marking — EU market access for complete pump units
- RoHS compliance — Restricted substance control
- SGS factory audit — Annual third-party verification

Where Our Pumps Run
We’ve shipped to 50+ countries. The heaviest concentrations:
- Southeast Asia: Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia — PCB and surface treatment boom
- South Asia: India, Bangladesh — Textile dyeing and electroplating growth
- Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia — Water treatment and desalination chemicals
- Europe: Poland, Turkey, Spain — Automotive plating and chemical processing
- Americas: Mexico, Brazil, Colombia — Nearshoring manufacturing expansion
We don’t maintain overseas warehouses. Everything ships from Dongguan. Lead time is typically 15-20 days for standard models, 30-35 days for custom configurations.
What Working With Us Looks Like
Most of our customers aren’t pump experts. They’re process engineers, maintenance managers, or procurement buyers who need the right pump spec’d correctly the first time.
Here’s how we handle it:
Step 1: You send the basics — chemical name, concentration, temperature, flow rate, head, installation type.
Step 2: Our engineering team runs material compatibility checks against our database of 400+ chemicals. We cross-reference concentration and temperature to pick FRPP, PVDF, PTFE, or stainless steel.
Step 3: We size the pump using actual system curves, not catalog points. We account for pipe friction, valve losses, and future fouling. The pump we quote hits your operating point at 75-85% of best efficiency — room to grow, not running at the edge.
Step 4: You get a formal quotation with pump curve, material certificate, dimensional drawing, and recommended spare parts list. No surprises after delivery.
Step 5: Post-shipment, we provide installation guidance by video call. If something doesn’t run right, we troubleshoot remotely first. If it’s our fault, we ship replacement parts by air freight.
The Honest Truth About Chinese Pump Manufacturers
Yes, there are cheaper options. We’ve seen competitors quote vertical pumps at 40% below our price. Here’s what that usually means:
- Regrind plastic instead of virgin resin — cracks in 8-12 months
- Standard bearings instead of SiC — seizes in hot chemical
- No hydrostatic testing — leaks in the field, not in the factory
- Disposable design — no spare parts available 2 years later
We don’t compete on purchase price. We compete on total cost of ownership over 5 years. For a pump running 6,000 hours/year in a chemical bath, the difference between a $800 pump that lasts 6 months and a $1,200 pump that lasts 5 years is obvious.
Get the Right Pump, Not a Repair Bill
We don’t fix broken pumps. We prevent them from breaking in the first place.
Tell us your job: chemical name, concentration, temperature, flow rate, installation type. We’ll ask the details you missed — aeration, level fluctuation, solids content — and match the exact pump for your reality.
If a cheaper model works, we’ll say so. If you need dry-run protection or PTFE lining, we’ll spec it. No overselling. No guesswork.
